I had them deliver a refrigerator and install. I asked multiple times about installation because I'm a single woman with no man to help. I know next to nothing about anything regarding plumbing. They stated as long as you have plastic or metal to hook the water up to the ice machine your fine.
Imagine my surprise an hour later(that's how long I had to drive to get to a Lowes) only to discover that my line isn't an issue and they have a quick installation set you can buy for 20 dollars. I think there is a cheaper one but they were out of stock.
Actually had people help us tonight. Always enjoy Lowe's. 730 p.m. on a Friday night is perfect.
Great Experience. Everyone was so friendly and helpful from the time you walk in the door until you checkout. All their associates gave the impression that they own their role and take great pride in the store. There was a man that helped me with fans and lighting for a underlighted area. He listened and took me directly to the perfect item. I am really impressed in the assistance I received. It was by far the best I've gotten in the area.
My problem isn't that they don't want to do the hook up to water it's that they said they would then totally screwed it up and I had to figure it out on my own.
Dave, a man working with me to special order my front door unit with side lights came in to complete my order during his vacation. He was professional, knowledgeful, and very pleasant. I hope he is appreciated because he is a big asset to your company.
The man JW who installed it and hauled away my old fridge cut the water line intentionally instead of cutting the plastic securing it to the old fridge. Then he stated he didn't have anyway to connect the water because my line was a different size than the fridge.
I gave them 3 stars because they dielivered it awesome. They took their time and got the old out and the new in with out damaging anything.
Recently I purchased hard wood flooring for installation. Kory in flooring was great and the Installation management team made sure the job was completed to my satisfaction. I also consider Letah in home decor to be one of the better “McGuires” for solid but creative solutions!
The Lowes in Liberty is my goto store for projects & solving problems. Their staff is good at playing to their strengths and I usually fine the sage expert guidance I need. It is usually a positive shopping experience.
So the take away is if you buy a refrigerator from lowes have an ice maker kit on hand so it can be installed.
